Gillade: Renlighet, bekvämligheter och boendets skick och faciliteter
This is our 2nd year booking a weeks stay over Christmas. This time my husband and I booked a suite, our adult children had their own room. We find this hotel great value for the money. Our kids are in their 20's and enjoy the party atmosphere. It is generally a younger crowd. Lots of pools to choose from; quiet to crazy. The bars are efficient and we never waited long for drinks. We love that you don't have to make reservations at any of the restaurants, except the steak house. To make the reservation You have to go to the restaurant the day of around 5:30 and inquire for a time. We did it last year and weren't overly impressed. My favourite is the japanese or we just go to the snaller buffet (Mangu). It's quieter than the larger buffet. The staff were all excellent. Service was somewhat lacking Christmas Eve but that was more due to the resort being super busy and the restaurants being understaffed. The servers work very hard and long hours but always have a smile.
Small issue with our room as the ceiling was leaking which left puddles o
hte floor. We turned the a/c off because we don't like or need it and I think that messed the system up. We didn't complain but our cleaning lady had a repair guy come in. Worked for a day then leaked again. We did mention it to the front desk finally but no one came. We only had two nights left and we didn't care. The cleaning lady left tons of towels to mop it up. We would recommend the Riu Republica. Lots of fun
