Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue regular. Hubo aspectos muy positivos, pero también situaciones que afectaron nuestra estadía. Al llegar, nos asignaron una habitación en el tercer piso, a pesar de que viajábamos con una persona mayor, dos niños pequeños. Aunque finalmente nos reubicaron en primer piso, el proceso fue incómodo y generó un mal momento al inicio. Las habitaciones están limpias y en buen estado, aunque se sienten un poco antiguas. El personal de limpieza hizo un excelente trabajo durante toda la estadía; siempre muy atentos y las habitaciones mantenían un aroma agradable. Las piscinas y el parque acuático son hermosos y están muy bien cuidados. La playa es bonita y el servicio en esa área fue excelente: los saloneros fueron muy atentos. En el restaurante, el servicio fue inconsistente. Notamos que los huéspedes europeos recibían mejor atención, mientras que a los latinos —incluyendo dominicanos— el servicio era más lento y menos cordial. Las bebidas tardaban bastante y el menú, aunque bueno, resultó limitado. Además, varios platos ofrecidos no estaban disponibles durante nuestra visita. El servicio de carritos internos suele ser útil, pero en algunos momentos no había personal disponible, lo que complicó la movilidad dentro del hotel. En general, el hotel tiene instalaciones muy bonitas y un equipo de limpieza excepcional, pero el servicio al cliente y la organización pueden mejorar significativamente.

A family of 7 start fighting and physically and verbally, security staff was slow to respond and not proficient in English language, city polic got involved and took the assaulting guy to jail and asked me to be there at police station the next day early morning, hotel asked me to move to the different room for my safety, then the next day they asked both parties to go to two different resort, I couldn’t understand why I had to move since I was the victim, they said it is the policy. My room was changed 3 times, I had to pay for taxi to go to police station and it was the most terrifying vacation I ever had. Food was not good. Too loud. They really didn’t show any sympathy in any way.

The AC doesn't work properly and in the room there was a cockroach coming out of the sink. The staff had to give us special treatment, according to the receptionist, because I had made the reservation through Expidia. When we went to him, he was terrible because he barely spoke and the little we asked him, he didn't know, no special treatment at all.

This has been my worst hotel experience in my life.....I arrived at the proper time around 3 pm and the hotel had me waiting until 630pm. on that matter i asked for a late check which i was given....but when i arrived to my hotel room my bag were not in my room and my girlfriend went to take a shower and the fire alarm in my room starting ringing very laud, i called for help and no one came so i went to the lobby to complain. they took 1 hour to fix the problem sending 5 people to the room while my couple was very uncomfortable of having 5 men looking at her and she couldn't change because our bags were not sent until the end......so finally at 715pm i finally get settle in my room. The hotel acted on this and offer me upgraded dinner and upgraded room. which this was totally fine until the next day when i get my room after dinner....i get a non functioning key that never worked, i had to go several times to the lobby making me loose more time. also they never sent the bags again...so again i had to wait 30 more mins and to top that the room smelled like tabacco and the mini fridge empty and when i call asking to send water and beer they denied sending it....in a all inclusive hotel they simply dont care......by far the worst costumer service of all time... they simple dont care about their guest....by the way the key never worked until 1 hour before check out...i was at the mercy of the employees around to open my room.

Staff was all either amazing or worthless, I don't think there was anyone we interacted with that was in between. In general the cleaning staff, bartenders, and concierges were incredible and the wait staff was terrible, but there were exceptions to all of those. The pools were well maintained as well as the bars. The room water ranged from clear to "are you sure you flushed?". Regular (about every other day) power outages. Sunscreen was $37-50 US. I expect and am fine with some amount of price gouging for the convenience of not leaving the property, but that exceeds what I am willing to tolerate. We also had more than one incident of being charged the wrong amount or wrong conversion rate "accidentally". The shop staff didn't realize that we understood them talking and know it wasn't accidental. The entertainment was actually entertaining and the dancers/circus performers were amazing. Food ranged from good to inedible. In the same meal at the seafood restaurant I had wonderful octopus as an appetizer but then when I also has octopus as part of my entree it was so tough I didn't think I'd be able to chew it enough to swallow. The food in the buffet was typical buffet food, overcooked and not kept at proper temperatures. The Italian and Mexican restaurants we ate at were good, except for the steak at the Italian place. We didn't do the steak restaurant because the steak was so poorly cooked any time someone ordered one at another restaurant that we didn't want to chance it.
