“House Olympia is an absolute gem of a home on a hill overlooking some spectacular views of the area. It is very close to Ancient Olympia, but even if you just want a nice place to enjoy rural Greece, House Olympia is a perfect spot. There is a full kitchen, very comfortable bed, very comfortable living room and formal dining area in addition to the kitchen breakfast area. Aggeliki is a warm and lovely host and a font of information about Ancient Olympia and the area. I cannot recommend this...

“Tolle Lage der Ferienwohnung mit eigenem Treppenzugang vom Balkon in das glasklare Meer. Traumblick auf die gegenüberliegende Insel Zakynthos und den abendlichen Sonnenuntergang hinter dieser Insel. Ganz toller kleiner Ort mit super Geschäften und Tavernen und das, obwohl eindeutig touristisch geprägt. Mietwagen notwendig, um ggf. auch mal benachbarte Strände (empfehlenswert auf alle Fälle der Strand bei Kastro mit der kleinen Strandkneipe) und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten (Olympia / Zakynthos!) zu...

“The unit was in a unique location in rural Greece, in the midst of an Olive Tree farm. It was charming, quiet, roomy for us, and functional for our needs. The host was very friendly and kind and helpful. We appreciated the gifts of food (fresh tangerines!). Unfortunately, the unit we were booked for was under renovation, so we stayed in a unit attached to the house. Heating in the back bedroom was minimal, and the internet was not functioning for the first day.”

“Anreise mit Navigator. Schlüssel wurde gebracht. Kurze Einweisung. Es gab 3 Ventilatoren, Elektroherd funktionierte nicht. Toilettenspülung, großes Geschäft, nur mit einer Schüssel Wasser. Alte, marode Fensterläden und Betonwände ! Dann pro Nacht 10,-€ für den Hund. Kein Geschäft in der Nähe. Der Strand und die Tavernen waren super!”

“We had overall a really nice stay with our family. The pool and terras is super. It was mentioned that a family of 5 was no problem. Sleeping on the couch (not a couch-bed!) however for the 5th person was not clearly mentioned in advance. Anyway we were glad to get an extra folding bed after negotiating. The poor knowledge of the English language of the young ladies as local host was a (small) difficulty.”
