“A simple hotel that has what we needed. A good variety of breakfast, for both Western and Asian pallets. We were very pleased with the fact that they have parking in the garage, on a first come, first served basis. When we first arrived, by car, there was only one spot left but it was too tight. The guy in the reception then ran down and moved some scooters to make more room. That's great service. My only complaint is that I would have preferred a proper door to the bathroom.”

“Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the hot spring every day. A highlight was being allowed to use the hot spring even after checkout — it was a lovely touch to freshen up before heading to the airport.
One small suggestion: when we first entered the room, it wasn't immediately clear how to turn on the lights. We had to use our phone flashlight (so dark) to discover that the key card needed to be inserted into a slot to activate them. A small sign or note near the door would...

“I had a great stay at the Hotel Royal Beitou. The hotel is a short walk from the metro, the property is well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly.
It's an easy walk to Beitou Park, and in the evening I enjoyed relaxing in a comfortable and clean room with my personal soaking tub with hot natural spring water.
I will book again when returning to Beitou!”

“It is a vey nice hotel. The only thing I do not understand is why the last entry for the breakfast is 9:00am. That is very unusual while we can stay inside the restaurant until 10:00am. The 9:00am is a bit early for those who are on vacation especially Taipei is full of night activities. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hot spring available inside the room is nice especially if you love to lie down in the bathtub to enjoy the moment of relaxation.”
