“The room was spacious but the dark grey paint on the wall made it look very depressing and like a dungeon. The room was fine, there was a fair amount of dust and the fridge smelled like mold. The ocean view was barely a view and was covered by parked cars. The bed was also quite uncomfortable. I could have paid cheaper and gotten better to be very honest”

“The port suite is a great place to stay a short walk from downtown. The property is very cosy and a great place to hang out and relax whilst watching the ocean activity from the deck. Jasmine, the host, is very friendly and helpful. Off street parking is a nice bonus too, we had a smaller car but there’s enough room for a larger vehicle. “We had a great stay! The place is HUGE with a full size bedroom, bath, kitchen, dining room and living room. It is very easy to walk or drive to downtown Campbell River. We had one small issue that required the router to be rebooted. The host responded and resolved the issue within 2 minutes! Would absolutely stay here again!”

“The property is beautiful. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean. My room however had a very strong odour of mildew which was retained by all of my belongings after checking out. Quite unappealing. I wouldn’t stay in that same room again, but if they have other rooms that don’t smell of mildew I would consider it.”
