“The host was amazing to work with and responded quickly to our questions. The cabin was nicely decorated and comfortably furnished, the A/C kept it cool, and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin is nicely located on the resort and we swam, used the hot tub and visited the miniature golf and enjoyed the beach. Check out was not tedious and again the host was very pleasant. We would highly recommend this rental! ”

“This cabana was the perfect home base for us between exploring Vancouver Island. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a long day and the location itself is stunning. There are lots of lovely restaurants and breweries close by to try, lots of parks and beaches, and tons of wildlife. On our last night a couple deer strolled by just for an extra little sprinkle of magic. This is a beautiful spot and we feel very fortunate and grateful to have been a guest during our vacation! ”

“We had a wonderful girls trip at the Slow Go. It was a little tricky to find, as the entrance isn’t immediately visible especially in the dark but once we got familiar with the surroundings it was no problem! The property was lovely, great fire pit, well-stocked and comfy cabin. Being close to the highway meant it got a bit noisy at times but not bad at all. The host was wonderful to communicate with when we had to troubleshoot a situation with the lock and fixed it right away. Would recommend...

“My husband and I stayed at The Cabin for a week June 26th - July 3rd, 2025. We were thrilled to find this perfect retreat in the countryside outside of Port Alberni and the proximity was perfect for us. Even though we didn’t use the amenities at all, we think they are all perfect for a family or group to use. Surrounded by lush foliage it’s a cozy place to enjoy the outdoors.
