“Because the cabin I booked was unavailable, I got upgraded to a better cabin. The park is in a fairly good location. Its a bit of a walk into the town centre but its closer to attractions like the QANTAS Founders Museum and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. “Staff was the only thing that stood out 100% the best. Cabin 16 was a disgrace, very poor , needs maintenance bad, Air con filters need cleaning badly disgusting, Stove is 50 years old , rubbish , Fire hose falling from the outside wall , stairs are dangerous loose anti slip on tread, Tooth brush on ledge in shower cubical and medication plunger on bunk bed from previous people who stayed there , Shower rose needs replacing, Had to have the park maintenance guy come to fix the...

“The lighting in the TAKA tent consisted of one light bulb which did not emit much light. Entry to the site had numerous pot holes making it a rough ride for vehicles. There was absolutely nothing to do if you weren’t bushwalking or asleep; no open air movie nights, quiz nights, etc. No sporting equipment for children. Poor road signage and a lack of lighting throughout the camp. We left a day early.”
