This house sits pretty high on the Hill. The driveway is not for the faint of heart if driving up it, and the walk up will leave you winded unless you are in good shape, and after that are the winding stairs to the front door. Its the first thing you notice and if access is an issue for you or anyone in your party, you may want to reconsider. That being said, you are rewarded with an awesome view your entire stay if you make it inside. The view from the living room, pool, master bedroom, and guest house are outstanding. Check in and out was easy, thanks to David the house manager. He was always a text or call away. He set up our transportation and excursions and all went off without any issue. Heidy- the house cleaner was very accommodating- a very clean house. Mario the driver was professional and always on time. Now I have been lucky to visit Costa Rica steadily for the past 20 years or so. I have stayed there with family and friends in home rentals and resorts. And all of these home rental companies now have this concierge service. Which in my opinion is an amazing service. And every concierge has there go to service providers for Chefs, drivers, etc. So believe me when I say that the Chef at this house recommended by the concierge team, is one of the best! Jorge the chef and Kimberly could not have been more professional and just on another level. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. And really, their personality and attention to detail really made us feel like we were top priority and really got us to start relaxing and just enjoying the local cuisine. I would recommend at least a dinner and breakfast to get the full experience. Really great local people that make you feel welcomed to this house and country- I can't say enough. Ask for them by name if available!
As for the house amenities, it had it all. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean. Everything worked as it should. We saw macaws, monkeys, and coati. While the neighbors seem like they are close at first glance, once in the house, you barley notice them. I will say the pool is deeper than it looks, in case there are little ones staying here. I will be back to this house. Great House. Great Team. Great Fun. Pura Vida indeed.....
