Karri Lakeside

Lakefront 3 brm house in karri forest at Karri Lake, Quinninup, with magnificent views of the lake and karri trees. Enjoy the peaceful beauty from the full-length deck overlooking the lake. Comfortably furnished with everything you need. A spacious living area which captures the winter sun and a lovely log fire. Turn the spotlights on at night to highlight the forest. All beds have electric blankets, spare blankets, doonas & pillows. All linen and towels provided.

Quiet lakefront location away from passing traffic ensures total relaxation and the large block enhances the feeling of privacy, serenity and space.

Direct access to the lakeside walk track from the property. Other walk tracks through the forest nearby. A birdwatcher's paradise, with wildlife and a profusion of wildflowers in Spring.

Perfect for families, friends or a romantic retreat.

Five minutes from historic Quinninup village with its newly rebuilt tavern, free tennis court and childrens playground.

Tourist attractions are plentiful and easily visited from here: all are scenic drives through the forest. Attractions include wineries & galleries of the Pemberton-Manjimup area and spectacular Pt. D'Entrecasteaux, Salmon Beach, Walpole & the Treetop Walk are around an hour away.

Great little Cabin

It was great, very comfortable, they had heaters and a wood fire so we were nice and warm. The curtains are a little older so don’t really close over the windows properly, one room was a little damp smelling. There was no dishwashing liquid to wash up. A few little things were missing. The stay was very comfortable otherwise, I would highly recommend the property!

A stunning getaway

What a beautiful house in a stunning location! We were so happy with our stay here that the only problem was we weren't able to tear ourselves away from our real life in order to extend our stay for longer. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and the view of the lake from our bedroom, and the fireplace was perfect for toasty evenings. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Very nice cabin

The cabin is very well maintained and is cosy with the fireplace and the board games. The location is really nice, the lake and the forest are very tranquil and it’s so refreshing and peaceful

The best surprise

We were heading down for the Balingup medieval fair and we had a long trek from the swan valley with a few stops along the way even in a storm. We arrived in the evening and was greeted by the amazing view and sunrise over the lake it was stunning would stay again and the fire was just fantastic

House was a little dusty. More kindling was needed and an axe to chop the wood. Wood was a little damp and no newspaper provided (just fire lighters). The queen bed was very soft. Not sure if it’s very old? View and location was great. My sons loved the scrabble (old game from the 50’s). Furniture was a little old. Kitchen was good.

Short holiday

Spacious house hidden in the bush by the side of Karri Lake. Good swimming spots. Kangaroos and birds are around in the morning. 500 m walk to the village centre, and at the Communinty Bushfire Station can one connect to free Wifi.
