“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”

“It was a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay very much. Management neglected to update the listing title as the dock no longer exists. There is access to the river but no dock. We loved the location and the peace of the river.”

“We were welcomed with genuine warmth by our exceptional hosts, Rob and Denise. We felt instantly at home and very secluded making the stay truly an escape! The cottage itself was beautifully maintained—clean, cozy, and full of charm. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the breathtaking mountain views from the property were simply stunning. Whether enjoying a morning coffee on the porch or watching the sunset, the scenery was nothing short of spectacular.What made this stay truly special...

“We enjoyed our weekend away at Pop's Peak. The cabin was beautiful, clean and we enjoyed it with our grandbaby. Willam was always super responsive and helpful when I had questions. It was just so peaceful there and exactly what we needed for a weekend away!! We would definitely return!”

“This was our first time in the Cashiers, Lake Glenville area and this house was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to relax after long days of hiking and boating. The house is only about 15 minutes to the lake and about 25 to Cashiers The rooms were very spacious and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! Fire pit with tree top Mountain Views was the best way to wind down every night. Highly recommend! ”
