“It was good place to stay for Parent’s weekend at virginia tech. About 30 minutes from the school. Feels slightly longer due to being in rural area but easy drive. Price was reasonable, beds were very comfortable. It gets very dark, I feel there should be more nightlights and my only issue was the scented detergent or spray on the sheets, we are all allergic to smells so it was a making us sniffy. “My senior citizen parents and I had a wonderful stay at Susana and Sean's lovely apartment in Floyd! The location was very convenient to downtown Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their walk out basement apartment home is situated on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and as pictured. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, very comfortable. “Great place to get away for our wedding night. Very quite and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed setting in the hot tub. It did rain most of the time we were there, but we did have a break that we were able to walk around the property and down by the lake and enjoy all the wild life. We met the owners and we very pleasant people. We definitely recommend and will be going back again for another stay.”

“Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!”
