“The house was very cute in a good location. We were only a few minutes to shopping and restaurants, but we felt like we were far from a city. We enjoyed watching airplanes during the day and stars at night. The host was quick to communicate, and the house had plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the bed set up downstairs because all the kids could sleep there together. We also really enjoyed how comfortable the mattresses were. The only issue was that it needed a deep clean (and we did not reach out...

“Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. Felt like we were in the middle of no where but still close enough to town. House and yard are well maintained. The large covered porch was great for playing corn hole. Pics dont show it but there are two outdoor fans. The one above the swing bed was perfect. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of towels. We brought tubes, tied up and floated in the river. Kids loved fishing and in the evening smores on the firepit. Host was very repsonsive to questions....

“We loved our stay here at La Palmilla. Our daughter was so excited she kept telling us she didn’t want to sleep. It’s a beautiful property and felt like we weren’t in Texas. Loved that it was dog friendly, and the wide open space around was so relaxing. We also saw some deer roaming around. We met the owners and they were so kind. It's close to all of the Glen Rose spots and we would definitely return. ”
