“This was my second stay at Paradise Pond, and was even more enjoyable than the first. It's in a quiet setting with plenty of woodland to explore and lots of bird and wildlife activity on the pond, but just a quick hop to Santa Fe, and with easy access to Taos and Abiquiu/Ghost Ranch. The casita is spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. Tom is the perfect host, very friendly and always happy to make travel suggestions. There's also a nice library of maps, brochures, and books on the area...

“Perfect location to everything. Slopes are about 30-40 minutes. We went to Taos and Angel Fire. Walking distance to historic downtown area that included restaurants and the art district.”

“This is a beautiful new small house minimally but tastefully furnished in Ranchos de Taos, about a 15 minute drive from the historic downtown. There are outstanding, sweeping views from the wrap-around porch. The beds and living room furniture are comfortable and the kitchen and two bathrooms are adequate. We stayed for the entire month of August and were not disappointed. Highly recommended.”

“Pros: Awesome hosts, very friendly and very quick to respond to questions. Close to Angel Fire skiing (10 minute drive). Beautiful area; two deer hung outside our window much of time there. Property very clean. Master bedroom good size w/ huge closet. Would certatinly rent again, because of hosts gratitude (though not with our 2 children as place is too small). Cons: You have downstairs/basement of building shown. Kitchen does not have oven or stove and tiny table. Only allows 4 guests,...

“We stayed in Aunties house, it had two bedrooms (queen and two twins) which worked great for us. It has a nice sized bathroom with a large shower (no tub). The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. ”

“We only stayed one night but really enjoyed it. The owner was very knowledgeable on the history of the house and the surrounding area. We especially liked the story of Arthur Manby. A hike to the hot springs is a must. Ruby, the owner’s dog, is an absolute delight- she was our tour guide to the hot springs.”
