“Lovely cabin :well appointed: comfortable bed. But long drive from town 28km and half of it is (currently) a gravel road. It’s a beautiful place. We walked across field to waterfall. Views of the volcano. Nice respite but know you have a drive from the highway/town”

“Stayed 3 nights at this fantastic place, which is perfectly located for day-trips around the southern part of the island. Cosy cottages in as-new condition, fully furbished kitchenette was perfect for cooking meals, slept like babies in a large double-bed and twin sofa (very easy to unfold/fold). “If you like being out of the way Afternoon Cottages is a great jumping off point for adventuring. It is well equipped and very clean. It has a great price point and very basic. It worked great for us because it was simply a place to cook dinner and sleep. You have access to all the necessities about 25 minutes away in Hella. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.”

“This was a very cute place. The windows were big and the area had a beautiful view of mountains. It is not too far from Hella. The bed was comfy. It was nice to have a TV as well. I would recommend and would stay again.”

“Great clean looking property out in the wilderness.. plan to get your own stuff to eat for the stay”
