“The accommodation was spacious, but had lots of room for improvement. It met the minimum standard of cleanliness (the bedding and mattresses were clean) but overall it is a worn-out farmhouse and there were bugs, cobwebs, etc. The windows could use curtains for privacy especially in the bathroom. Meeting the farm animals was fun. There are many dogs and cats as well as typical farm animal like sheep. It is probably not a good fit for people who like neat and tidy accommodations, but...

“We were very happy with this room which is more of a small apartment. Modern, very clean and quiet. Also had stovetop, fridge, freezer but no microwave. The bed was comfortable and the best we slept in during our road trip in Iceland. But think about this! The GPS address provided by Hotels.com is incorrect and only leads to an empty road intersection. Hotels.com also gives the address of the town of Selfoss, which is not entirely correct.
