We returned to Camp Whynot because of the location and comfort of the home. We were there during the infamous cold snap, and Morton and Furbish were excellent. Although we never lost power, M & F reached out to make sure we were ok and didn't need anything. They continue to go above and beyond every time we stay in Rangeley.
I gave four stars because of cleanliness. In previous years staying with Morton & Furbish, it's always been impeccably clean, five stars. For some reason, this house wasn't when we arrivd. There was a used hair tie in the shower, a sleeping mask under the master bed, an empty beer can on the lower level on the floor, under the couches were dusty, and the ceiling fan blades haven't been dusted in ages. Be aware that this home is just outside of Rangeley a bit, so the WiFi isn't strong at all - we couldn't work for on the WiFi at the home, we used our tether instead. Some of the lightbulbs were out throughout the home. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay, beautiful view, and quiet neighborhood. Would stay again.
