“The townhouse was very nice. I guess we missed in the description that you could only go by pontoon to town as this is on an island. Also, make sure you tell your taxi driver to take Sunset Point Road - we don't know where the name Manatee came into place and our taxi wanted to take us to the Manatee Inn which is not the right place.”

“We had a great stay. The management and staff were superb. We had zero issues getting back and forth across the canal. The boat captain was always available and so friendly and helpful. The house is a little tired, but super clean. I would stay again. You can't beat the location so close to the village and yet so quiet. Easy pickup out front for any water based tours. ”

“Sunset Gecko is the ideal condo for two couples. Lots of room inside and two outside decks to sit and have a drink or read a book. Our group really enjoyed the roof top pool and views. The condo was well equipped for cooking and entertaining. The staff kept the outside tidy and housekeeping did a great job on the inside. The condo is a bit of a walk to get to the sidewalk area and main part of Placencia so we rented a golf cart. This made grocery shopping easier and we were able to explore...
