It is centrally located so easy to visit various towns and villages in Umbria each day. The layout of the house was great for our family of 3 with our daughter having her own en suite room. “Having just returned from two weeks in this beautiful property we can highly recommend it! The Villa is very authentic (steep stone stairs) but done up with such taste and design. The bedrooms all have en-suites and air conditioning (we were there during a heatwave so this was very welcome). The bedroom downstairs with two single beds is the only room with a smart TV so has Netflix/Disney etc...the lounge does not have a TV but this didn't bother us at all. “Beautiful villa secluded from the closest town so that it felt private but close enough to the beautiful villages of Umbria. We were a group of 14 and it felt spacious. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain but we cosied up in the fireplace and still had dinner outside under the covered outside eating area. “This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night.”
