“We stayed for 3 weeks and found the location to be ideal for Henley and also close enough to get to Reading. The annex area was roomy with a well stocked cupboard of crockery and cutlery. Great shower in the bathroom and would be very cosy in the winter with plenty of radiators and a log burning stove. The decor is as per the photos and the parking is easy. Really pleasant stay and would recommend to others”

“BEWARE, this property greatly lacks security! The listing does (minimally) state that there is no staff on site. Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. We found that the key lock box for our room has been improperly closed by the previous guest, with our room key literally falling out of the lock box when we entered the house. “We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.”

“We stayed for one night at The Conifers guest house in a deluxe double room. We were welcomed at check in, which was very quick and efficient. The room was comfortable, quiet and airy (on a hot day), with tea and coffee available and a reasonable sized shower room. We had a good nights sleep in a large and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a good, buffet style breakfast which also included eggs freshly made and served by the friendly staff. We were able to park on the property. Spaces...

“Seemed clean enough but was a bit of a dive. Noisy with fire doors banging. Parking to check in was difficult until got access to the parking thru the barrier, probably limited parking if you arrive late.”
