“Fun little place. Perfect for me and the wife. Close to Kickapoo area hiking. Hot tub was a nice touch to the neat little stay.”

“Safe parking everywhere. Hot tub could use two more safety handles to make it easier to get out. Bathroom & floor cleanh, but whatever they used to clean the tile floor left a sticky residue. Bare feet & shoes felt sticky. Worse was the TV, no m enu, & couldn't tell what you were watching when changing channels. ”

“This is a typical roadside motel with units 1-10 side by side. It is clean and roomy. The staff friendly and helpful though we didn’t really interact much. The bed was large and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small working refrigerator (with small freezer that worked really well). The motel is Dog friendly. The downside: There was no hair dryer in the room. 1 ply toilet paper. AC window unit poorly fit into the wall. Ugly green bathroom paint (like from a grade...

“There was no cable, no swimming pool and no hot tub. Also no breakfast”

“Breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Mary is such a sweet lady. Everything was very well taken care of.”

“Nice place to stay in the spring. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There's no A/C, but as long as you are expecting that, it's a great place. ”

“The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”
