“The stay was nice ”

“We spent an amazing week at the cottage. although the weather didn’t cooperate for the first few days of our trip, once it cleared up we enjoyed being within walking distance of belmar beach and a short drive away from Asbury Park, one of our favorite places. Kelli and Jim are amazing hosts; they are extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful. We look forward to staying there again soon!”

“This was our second stay at the cottage and it was as great as our first. The space is well designed with all amenities, and we enjoyed sitting on the outside mini porch for morning coffee or an early evening drink. The location is convenient. Hope to return again. ”

“Just wrapped up 2 week stay. The cottage was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Dawn and Kevin were great hosts and, honestly, made me feel like I was a close friend or relative staying at their place. They provide everything you could want or need so stop at the cottage first before doing your first shopping. Great location and fun little town. I didn’t need a car the entire time. Hope to be back! ”

“Everything was perfect for our stay. The dock for our boat was very nice had everything we needed inside and outside the property. The people were so friendly and gave us many suggestions for around town . We will be back very soon !”

“This house was perfect for our party of 8 — 2 couples and 4 adult kids. Having the living areas on the middle floor, with the bedrooms above and below, made for a great compromise between privacy and togetherness. We lacked for nothing, the kitchen was especially well supplied, and communication prompt and friendly. (We bought tension rods to rig a curtain for the skylight over the upstairs bed — but that was the only adjustment we had to make for comfort.) ”

“Easy walks to local restaurants. The beach was nice. Enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs/loungers watching the activity on the water and on Sandy Hook’s bay beaches. Centrally located to a variety of things, including taking the Seastreak ferry into Manhattan. Appreciated the available parking for our rental car as grocery stores and such are a bit too far to walk. But it’s worth it to be on the beach. 😀. Thank you Dennis for creating this space.”

“While surprisingly far away from Asbury Park, location turned out great for departure Tuesday morning. Best feature was three bedrooms, so couple could have one room, and each teen could have another. Also great: two bathrooms. Not air conditioned, but fans adequate this late in season, plus close to ocean. Was hard to figure out parking. Having ginger ale as well as water in fridge a nice touch. But no pillow cases on pillows, just shams. Even after we called to inquire, the "welcomer" said he...

“Plus: clean, location to beach, sofa bed actually comfortable (although no sheets that actually fit) Not so plus: front lawn not mowed, had hard time parking on the pad (I drove a Kia Sorento, no street parking), no hand towels, wash cloths, paper towels/kitchen towels (first thing went to Target to get what we needed), no games/books/magazines, designated office area—beat up desk sandwiched next to sofa, backyard not very private, just not a super welcoming vibe. Albeit, not the worst place...
