Cozy A-frame cabin 1/2 block from the gorgeous Sylvan Lake beach, parks & pubs

Our adorable renovated cabin is half a block from the gorgeous Sylvan Lake beach, children's parks, restaurants and pubs. Go skating on the lake just a block away, near the amazing Christmas light display and open fire pits on the beach. There is so much to do in Sylvan Lake, any time of the year! Enjoy our firepit, front deck, and canoe if you wish. Parking provided - you can walk anywhere from the cabin and save the parking fees!

Our cozy A-frame has been completely renovated and updated with new appliances, fixtures, beds, and furniture. The open loft has a queen sized bed, reading nook, and little balcony off the front. Downstairs boasts a bright & functional living room / dining room with lots of board games to choose from, record player, TV with Netflix & Disney+, fast wifi, and Bluetooth speaker. The modern rustic decor offers lots of seating, including a large pullout sofa.

The galley style kitchen is all new, including a few different options for your morning coffee. From there you will find the bathroom which has brand new everything. Finally, the bright & spacious master bedroom which also has a new queen bed, enclosed washer and dryer, and an open-concept ensuite bathroom with a large soaker tub. All of the soaps and hair products are cruelty free, vegan friendly, paraben free and free of sulfates. The space is entirely heated by two gas fireplaces, one in the master bedroom and one in the living room.

Outside we have a firepit, front porch, expansive front lawn and a cozy little private back yard as well. There are parking spaces from the back lane, so you can forget paying for parking and walk everywhere from this perfect location. Please note that while the cabin is great for kids, the stairs to the loft are "attic" style stairs (half ladder - half stairs). Licensed short term rental with the Town of Sylvan Lake - STAR-04769

Great Location and Great Interior - curb appeal needs some work for sure, but once you’re inside, all your doubts go away. There is a spiral staircase leading up to the 2nd or loft room, but only young nimble adults should attempt that - and certainly not children or people with less than perfect mobility. Accommodation was well presented with two propane fire places glowing warm and welcoming croissants and beverages to make one feel welcomed. Only criticism would be towards Expedia for making it so difficult to access the messages from the host to gain access - the app shows support and a phone number for help, but that was highly lacking too and their phone number just put us in an endless loop.

At first when we pulled up and seen this tiny little cabin I was disappointed thinking it would feel cramped and be disorganized. Once we opened the door I was super excited to see that it is just like the pictures, bright, roomy and has the best beach access. Literally 60 seconds to the beach. There were plenty of fans and air conditioners to keep us comfortable in each room and we had everything we needed for cooking. Definitely would recommend.

Sweet home away from home

This A- frame cabin was clean, updated and included all the essentials our family needed for a fun vacation. My 3 and 5 year sons old loved the loft- it was like their special space. The house is steps away from the ice cream shop, beach and a playground.We had fun in the empty lot nearby playing soccer, bocce ball and frisbee. It’s a quiet street.We would definitely recommend to our friends and family and hope to visit again.

Thanksgiving getaway

Amazing stay at the Cozy Cabin! The layout is perfect for family with bigger kids- lots of space for everyone. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, complete with kitchen utensils to cook our small turkey. We had great weather during our stay and took advantage of the cabin’s proximity to lakeshore paths and cute restaurants. Games galore to entertain you, and a lovely yard with well supplied fire pit. Comfy furniture and beds, very quiet and peaceful. Would love to stay again.
