âWe visited Healds Hall for a family occasion. The food was excellent throughout - both catering for a large number at the function and serving breakfasts next day - having everything prepared from fresh ingredients.
The room we stayed in was obviously refurbished. With the modern amenities of a good bathroom, and the restful atmosphere of the period house, it was a very pleasant experience.â

âThe staff were really friendly, the room was spacious and really clean. The bed was ok, I guess my only criticism would be it could maybe do with a new mattress, you could tell it was quite old and if you rolled near the edge of it there was no support and you pretty much fell out of bed :)
There was a good choice at breakfast every day and a selection of full English items which was nice.
Apart from that it was a convenient location at a reasonable price. â
