“The property was clean and family friendly. It was very near many of the hikes and other amenities we were hoping to experience during our visit to the redwoods. We loved that it was right on the river, which was slow moving and fun to play in. The area was a little sketchy and maybe a little overpriced, but the woods were beautiful, and the interior of the home was nice. I didn't love that you couldn't flush any of the toilet paper. “I would definitely recommend staying at The Beach House! It was incredibly inviting and the hosts seemed to think of everything! There was plenty of space, it was clean with the best views of the pacific. The whole area was heavenly and the locals were welcoming. If you’re planning a trip to Whitethorn, stay at The Beach House- you will love it!”

“Overall the home was in good condition. A few items were missing or didn’t work in the kitchen. ( can opener, cork screw, etc) WiFi and television were excellent. Communication needs work. ( I had to contact host prior to check in and there was no check out instructions) The location has beautiful areas to visit locally, however nearby parks are difficult to drive to due to bumpy mountain roads. ”
