Adorable seaside cottage! Screened front porch greets you with double rockers for quiet evenings or morning coffee. Enter the front door (with digital keypad!) to the bar room, featuring comfortable seating for 4 and bar for all your happy hour desires! The barnwood-lined living room is a cozy space for movies or rainy day games, complete with pull-out full sofa, and additional seating. The main bedroom features custom chair-rail design with beadboard walls and beachy feel. Laundry and large closet space included! Just down the hallway, the tastefully updated, cheery eat-in kitchen space with island-bar seating for 2 is complete with quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, microwave, diswasher, drip coffee machine, toaster oven, crockpot, oven with pots and pans, and fully furnished with dishes, glasses, silverware, and grilling utensils. The adjacent bath has been recently stylishly updated. The back door takes you to the outdoor oasis, complete with paver patio, astroturf yard, privacy fencing, outdoor shower, grill, and dining set for al fresco dining! Wonderful Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cottage was just right for our family of 3 and our dog. It is very close to restaurants and stores, and the beach. Greg went out of his way to make our stay a great one by making numerous recommendations and just being very kind and communicative. We especially enjoyed the front porch with the rocking chairs and Gordon's Pond Beach is beautiful! We will definently be back.

Great weekend getaway from the DMV

Cottage by the Sea is an adorable beach bungalow. It’s equipped with everything you need. We had a cozy stay with 6. Teens loved the loft. Great outdoor shower keeps the beach vibe. We had two frenchies that were comfortable and enjoyed the fenced in yard and porch. It was a nice walk to the main attractions and beach. We had a great stroll to Dogfish and breakfast at Egg and the bakery across the street was a nice treat too.

Fantastic beach getaway

This was a lovely cottage, thoughtfully decorated, very well stocked and perfectly located. Every inch is well used in this home including the clever sleeping loft! Don’t miss the quiet, secluded backyard patio, perfect if you have a little doggie with you. The location can’t be beat and we would love to come again!

Cute, clean cottage

Our family enjoyed our stay, especially the cute back patio for evenings after being out in Rehoboth. The outside shower and provided bikes to use were a plus. Walk into town was not too far, and we enjoyed the bakery next door.

Would be 5 stars definitely if it was slightly cleaner. We had a wonderful time and the location is perfect. Loved that it came with bikes chairs umbrella towels linens even detergent and dishsoap, basically everything you will need! The cleanliness was on par with a pet friendly accommodation and we LOVED being able to have our fur baby with us.

Exactly what I needed

Gary & Marc’s home was warm, welcoming & impeccably clean. The location could not have been better. We went for a long weekend but the formula Egg, Poodle Beach, Rise Up, Sandwich, yoga, fish market, wine, grill on patio, rinse, repeat could apply for weeks at a time! Already looking for our next booking at Cottage by the Sea. Thank you!

Beach Cottage

My family and I really enjoyed our time here. The description and pictures reflect exactly how this home is. It’s a cute place in a great location. Once you park your vehicle, everything is pretty much in walking distance, from the boardwalk to restaurants. The only time we needed to drive was when going to the outlets or going fishing. Otherwise, it was exactly what we were looking for. Kids absolutely loved the loft and we found it to be enough space for four of us. I highly recommend staying here for a nice getaway, especially if you just want to park and walk or bike everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

We LOVED the location

Rented this house for a week with my husband, daughter and goldendoodle. The location is great and we ate at the Crystal restaurant several times during the week. We adored being able to walk into town so easily. Greg was a super responsive host! Yay!

Awesome time

The property was perfect for a short weekend getaway. It’s an ideal location for being able to access downtown. Lots of seating area and a shaded backyard. Our 15 month old was with us and the pack and play fit perfect in the bedroom. Greg was a great host.

Lovely small cottage

This rental was excellent for a girls weekend at the beach! It was very walkable to restaurants and shops. It was also a 20 minute walk or 4 minute car ride to the beach. The house was very clean and had a lovely sitting area inside and on the back patio. There were four of us and it was a bit tight (especially In the loft), so I think this place would be ideal for 3 adults or two couples if one doesn’t mind sharing a sleeper sofa. The hosts were very responsive when needed. Overall I’d definitely recommend this house for someone looking for a weekend away!

Cozy cottage in the heart of Rehoboth

This was our first time renting a VRBO and what a great experience! Super easy check in, owner was easily accessible and responsive for questions and location was within walking distance of everything we love in Rehoboth. The bakery across the street was a great start to the day. The cottage was beyond clean and decorated meticulously. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Cute cottage near downtown Rehoboth

I stayed here with my wife and 2 dogs. The cottage was very clean, well-decorated, with lots of nice spots to hang out. There was a comfy front sunroom and the back was also a nice place to hang out, especially good for dogs. It’s located right across the canal from the main drag of Rehoboth. The beach is an easy half mile walk. We would love to stay here again.
