“Please be aware that this is not a real VRBO property, but instead a time share. When we checked in, they tried to get us to attend a presentation in exchange for a free gift. They will try to sell you a time share. It's really not cool that this was not disclosed. It took forever for us to check in because of the upsell scam. “Werecently stayed at the Northstar Luxury 2 BR House and found it had both excellent aspects and some challenges. The property is in a quiet, end-unit location, just 10 minutes from Truckee and 15 minutes from the lakeside. It’s perfect for summer biking, hiking, restaurants, and events. The house is beautifully designed, with a cozy fireplace and free shuttle service. The property management was also accommodating and easy to work with, which greatly enhanced our stay.
