“House was clean and comfortably furnished. The kids enjoyed the arcade games and it was an overall good time. Only Issues were that the drive and walk ways were hidden in the snow and the house did not hold heat well ”

The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. The house was very comfortable and there was enough space for a family of 4 with the added bonus of a game room and bed/couch/tv area and additional bathroom on the lower level. “Amazingly beautiful property and clean space for rest and relaxation. Kliment is a kind and wonderful host - his abode is next to the rental space and he made sure we had everything we needed, and was kind enough to share eggs from his chickens, and tomatoes and herbs from his garden, all while giving us the privacy we needed on our getaway. ”

“Our whole family stayed at this property while in town for a family reunion. We had a toddler and an infant with us and it worked great- the host provided two high chairs and the main living area was super kid friendly. “Very unique experience in a wonderful locations but a few asterisks.There is no plumbing en suite, which we were aware of, but the bathhouse (clean) is a good 100 yards away. Not ideal for middle-of-the-night wakeups or if your ability to get around is compromised. It got very cold overnight and unfortunately the fireplace would not switch on. The batteries in the remote were probably the culprit, but this didn't help make us any warmer. The staff was very nice and helpful. ”
