“The primary bedroom was very small but with the rooftop deck and the front porch it really wasn't an issue. The view of the sunset was incredible. The folks working at the "general store/check-in" were really nice. I love the rule of quiet after 10:00pm. We went the first week of June and it was really peaceful. We are booking for the same week next year!!!”

“Stayed here last minute after our previously reserved room at another place flooded and closed. The staff was so welcoming and the room was well kept and clean. We had everything we needed. Including a delicious breakfast delivered to our door. The kids enjoyed the pool while my husband and I relaxed poolside. Definitely coming back for a longer stay next time.”

“Nice room and friendly staff, but that's about it. The breakfast was the worst I've had at a hotel and the pool needs work. There was no tiki bar like described and birds poo-ed all over the pool deck and furniture. They even swam in the pool which you can't really help, but someone should be out there cleaning the pool deck and furniture during pool hours.”

“You cannot beat this location across from the Assateague Lighthouse or the knowledge and stories of Capt. John who was born and raised on the island! We made the most of our 2 night stay. Very clean and well maintained family run property. The 11 small cottages are well situated with basic amenities. We took advantage of both sunset and sunrise cruises as well as the water taxi to a private beach. There are also kayak and small boat rentals. Had a fire on shore and looked at the stars....
