“Terrible experience at this guset house. When we arrived tyou couldn not flush and the girl at the front desk promised us to fix that. We took a walk at the town and went back, still not fixed but she promised us the plumber was on his way. After a couple of hours we come back again and were promised it was fixed. Guess what, it was not and there was no plumber!! She lied to us!! When we wanted to change room there was none, even though there were two avalible on the website! When we wanted to...

“There are two rooms at the barn and they are not worth the price. The rooms at the main house are the fantastic on es. So if you see a bargin on hotel.com its probably in the barn. When booking via hotels.com it said WIFI at the room. No wifi was available at the barn. The response at the reception was like "I do not care"”

“Bra hotel med trevlig personal. Vi fick gratis frukost och kvällsmat. Rummet och köket var rent. Tyvärr hade rummet en äcklig lukt. Som en blandning mellan rök och mögel. Annars är vi nöjda.”

“OMG, the staff were amazing. Front desk, housekeeping, kitchen. They were very friendly and were easy to talk to. The staff gave me food ideas, fun things to do and had beautiful smiles. Those attributes alone is why I'll be back. I was solo because my my friend backed out last minute. I felt so safe here too. ”

“When you stay at The Pillars, you’re transported to yesteryear, when things were quieter, softer, more genteel than present day. Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century.”

Guess what, it was not and there was no plumber!! She lied to us!! When we wanted to change room there was none, even though there were two avalible on the website! When we wanted to leave and hove our money back she all of a sudden had a room! It was so much small but we were so tired after a terrible day that we had to take that. We did not get an excuse or complimentary, I asked the manager to contact me but she did not!! We would like some refound because of not having a functional room until 9 pm and a much smaller room with one queenbed instead of two. We paid for a large room with two quennbed and shoul have a refound for the price difference. I would never recommend this guest house to anyone, bad service and very old bathrooms and also many steps to reach the rooms!"
