“Beuat and comfy room. Very narrow check times. Poor WiFi. Wobbly hot/cold water, probably installed by Mr. Bean himself. Brekkie to be self cooked. 150ml milk with amazing granola, bring more milk with you. Stale bread. Eggs and bacon cook yourself, if you find the power switch to the stovetop, it is well concealed. Lack of power outlets. ”

“The kitchenette was equipped for takeaways as described. There are dishes and a sink.Would have been better with a toaster. Nespresso coffee pod machine was a nice touch. There is a bar fridge. Spa was great however was a bit over full. Courtyard was wonderful with outside chairs and table. This is a great place for a couples getaway. Right there in the Main Street close to everything.”

“Excellent breakfast cooked by our host. So much choice. Even threw in a cheese tasting experience the night before. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Amazing sunset. Worth a visit.”

“The studio is compact but well appointed and comfortable with everything you could need. Being over the water is a lovely, tranquil experience and the views delightful. It is a very relaxing place to stay. This was our second stay and it was as good as the first. We will no doubt be back again in the future.”

“Lovely cottage, clean, quiet and comfortable. Well appointed with double hotplate, toaster, bbq, air fryer and other appliances. Similarly pots, pans and cutlery well catered as well as bathroom toiletries and cleaning agents. Very homely with a nice yard. All good.”

“Fantastic stay. Beautiful little houseboat. Within walking distance of everything in Goolwa. Wanted a weekend away with my partner and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the peacefulness of the marina. A unique stay which we both loved. Wish we could have spent a few more days onboard ”

“Nothing to fault. For us the location was idyllic. We weren’t expecting a ‘farm style’ environment yet this added to our enjoyment. With a horse paddock in front of us, birdsong, beautiful light conditions, we were rapt. To top this off we enjoyed the complimentary red wine at the end of day sitting on the deck. Dare I say, shades of rural France in Port Elliott. ”

“Hosts were absent as it was harvesting time. Arrived during cellar opening time but no one was around. So our much anticipated wine tasting didn’t happen. There was a sign that stated no walking in the vineyard so we out in the boonies with nothing to do. I would have loved to walk the vineyards when we arrived. Nightcap was included but nothing available. We booked as suggested by friends who loved the place and the hosts. We had a brief encounter with host as we driving away to find dinner....
