“The property and furnishings are all new so it was not a surprise to find everything super clean and nice. With only one property nearby the location was wonderfully quite and peaceful as well. Christy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and helpful. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone wanting to simply get away and relax. “The cabin was very clean and well stocked with necessities. We didn't have to purchase anything besides groceries to eat during our week-long stay. The lake was a short walk down the road and hill; we had the section of lake to ourselves during our stay as no one else utilized the area while we were in the lake. My teenager loved having the loft as his own little area and enjoyed climbing the ladder on the wall. The cabin was a short drive from groceries stores, restaurants, the Barren River...

“Trip had to be refunded due to severe storm the night before arrival. Was able to partially access outside of the property before deciding to refund. Tree limbs blocked entrance to vrbo and driveway. Storm knocked power out for entirety of weekend. Very nice location. All communications with owner and VRBO refunding was quick and easy.. Will try to rebook in future. ”

“Our family enjoyed a wonderful time at the cabin. It was very clean and inviting with clear instructions/ labels throughout. There were so many things to enjoy from hot tub to kayaking on the lake to ping pong and air hockey. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable escape for the family and a close drive to Mammoth Cave which we had wanted to visit for the first time. Highly recommended!”
