“Unfortunately the cleanliness of this hotel was terrible. The entire room smelt like animal urine and it was just an awful smell we had to sleep with the windows open. Not only that but when we woke up the next morning there were fleas on us. The beds are infested with fleas. Do not stay here.”

“Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. “This was a very nice property at a reasonable price. Nice neighborhood, secure enclosed garage. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was well stocked and clean. King size bed was very comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect location. Our host, John was very prompt on responding to my questions.
