This camp is right at the entrance of Humanatay lake and is right along the Salkantay path. Also to be noted there was HOT water and excellent shower pressure. “This stay took me by surprise. Originally booked at a passover to macchu picchu, the property could be a destination itself. It is walking distance from the town (uphill), and the train station (5 min). Absolutely gorgeous mountain view, gardens, and well kept in all regards. Location is 30 min walk to main square but they do not offer any kind of shuttle service; we walked and too taxis the entire time during our 2 days 2. “Can highly recommend!! Magical hotel that is directly at the train station. There is no disturbance from the trains and feels like an oasis. It’s built in colonial style and has their own organically garden, coffee roastery and alcohol distillery. The room we had was spacious and all of them are surrounded by a wonderful flower and fruit garden. Breakfast is included and offers a small buffet and also a a la carte menu with different types of egg, pancakes and French toasts. 10/10 amazing! ”
