“We stayed in the hanging glass capsule. What an adventure! However, safety was top priority. Views are amazing. Property is family owned and Eddy, one of the owners, was on site as well as offered zip lining or hiking. We were greeted with local drink then dinner and breakfast were delicious. The capsule has a jacuzzi with unreal views that we took advantage of! Capsule accommodates up to 4 people and is a unique experience Highly recommend for the adventure seeker. ”

“Can highly recommend!! Magical hotel that is directly at the train station. There is no disturbance from the trains and feels like an oasis. It’s built in colonial style and has their own organically garden, coffee roastery and alcohol distillery. The room we had was spacious and all of them are surrounded by a wonderful flower and fruit garden. Breakfast is included and offers a small buffet and also a a la carte menu with different types of egg, pancakes and French toasts. 10/10 amazing! ”

“Ett riktigt fint hotell i ett fint lantligt område. Lyx som inte är dyr, restaurant med riktigt god mat och service. Rummet var jättefint med fin kvalité på säng samt allting annat i rummet. Området innehåller en hel del att göra och titta på så detta kan jag utan någon som helst tvekan rekommendera!”

“Hotellet har ett bra läge med utsikt mot Soltemplet. Hotellet är litet, mysigt, färgglatt, familjeägt med en genuin känsla. Personalen är fantastisk (!) väldigt vänliga, hjälpsamma och serviceminded. Det är väldigt nära till allt eftersom Ollantaytambo är så litet. Frukosten serveras till bordet, och är bra för det priset man betalar för att bo där. Ett väldigt prisvärt hotell som vi varmt skulle rekommendera till andra.”

“Very nice place ”

“This place was nothing less than an oasis of peacefulness in a chaotic place. After a long day of Machu Picchu adventure (4:30AM to 7pm) we were greeted by the owner to see if we needed anything. The staff and the owner continually went out of the way to make our stay great. Filtered water in the room and bottled water available for purchase at the front desk. Breakfast was very good too! ”

“This was a lovely boutique hotel with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Very accommodating staff with a nice breakfast and good information about the town and tour options. The manager took me on a private tour of the Sacred Valley and also woke up extra early to make me breakfast before my Machu Picchu visit. There was no heat in the room but there were plenty of warm blankets to keep you comfortable. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler and would highly recommend...

“This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature...

Taypikala Boutique Machupicchu

10/10 Fantastiskt

"I had a pleasant stay at Taypikala Boutique Hotel. The staff were welcoming and generously upgraded me to a suite, which was a lovely surprise. The room was comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The only downside was that the hot water in the shower ran out after a few minutes, turning slightly chilly. Still, it was an overall great experience, and I’d happily stay again."

"Recension Atoq San Blaz Hotel, Cusco, Peru. Mina två söner och jag stannade på hotellet totalt 4 nätter i april 2025: 22/4 - 24/4 and 26/4 - 28/4 2025. Hotellet är litet och välskött, i typ borgstil. Det ligger högt upp i Cuscos gamla stadsdel. Om man väljer att gå från centrala gamla Cusco upp till hotellet får man räkna med en rätt brant stigning. Gatorna är smala och trottoarer små eller obefintliga. Bilar kör ibland förbi i hög fart. Kullerstensgator kräver rätt skor! Man kan pausa då och då och njuta av alla vackra gamla byggnader att se på! Den branta stigningen och den höga höjden gör det ibland svårt gå uppför gatorna. Det går då att ta en taxi (Ûber finns inte i Cusco). Taxipriserna är låga och förarna trevliga. Ett problem är dock att även inhemska förare har svårt att hitta till hotellet och släpper av en liten varstans. Sen gäller det att själv hitta hotellet. Men belöningen blir stor när man väl kommer in i hotellet. En trevligt inredd reception är det första som möter en. Personalen mycket vänlig och välkomnande. Man talar engelska och spanska. Det är ett mycket vackert och mysigt litet stenhotell med patio och en bedårande utsikt över Cusco och omgivande landskap. Man får nästan nypa sig i armen för att ta in den bedövande vackra utsikten. Flera trappor men hiss finns. Rummen är relativt stora och har allt man behöver. TVn fungerade dock inte. Men vad gjorde det när det finns så mycket att se på i omgivningarna! Hotellet känns som ett familjehem och man "
