“The staff were friendly and helpful. The Aquarius buffet was delicious! We enjoyed the casino and private island. We didn’t like the fact the in-room bathroom had a barn door which caused a lack of privacy. The fact the adult resort was literally separated from the other property was inconvenient. “I recently stayed at Divi Phoenix Aruba from June 13–20 and had a wonderful experience. The property is beautifully located right on Palm Beach, with stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach. “I can highly recommend Eagle Aruba resort for couples, family with kids, elderly and everyone, it suits all kind of people who want a good vacation! Don’t forget to go to Double Down restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we liked it a lot, for the good food and cocktails (including the staff) Nice and friendly souvenir shop. “The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. We felt safe on the property. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful time. However, considering the Hilton’s resort fee, one should not have to pay an extra fee to get a palapa closer to the water. Also, most of the palapas did not have hooks on them, so our beach bag was out of view if we left it by our palapa. Lastly, beware of cab drivers overcharging from and back to the airport.
