“It was a fantastic building, must have been an old church. It was clean, the bed wasn't too soft (as they usually are at hotels), and I didn't need to interact with any staff. But the ones I did were very good, they predicted my needs before I could tell them what I needed and helped me with everything. The one and only bad things was that every noise from the corridor outside could be heard into the room, so it was difficult to fall asleep. I did fall asleep after a little while, but I would...

“All good, nothing to complain, only thing was that the pool looks massive, but was quite small”

“Overpriced. This is more of a glorified B&B, understaffed. ”

“Rent och fint boende. Ventilationen lät väldigt mycket och kuddarna var väldigt hårda. Annars inget att klaga på.”

“Very well located, clean, friendly”

“Nytt rent fint. Bra mat ”

“Rummet var rent och hade AC. Frukosten helt ok, men hade kunnat erbjuda mer. Trevlig personal som var hjälpsamma.”

“Frukost var ok, men äggröra var inte av den bästa kvalité”

“Ingen reception utan incheckning via terminal. Tråkigt att inte möta personal= opersonligt.”

“Härligt läge lite utanför Utrecht. Bra frukost och mat i restaurangen. Stora rum med skön AC.”

“First of all, staff is amazing and best of the best is Marine in the reception. Parking os a problem so make sure if you arrive by car to reserve a hotel parking in advance. There is a smell in the stairway, but not in the rooms. Wifi is ok. Breakfast was averege. Location is ok.”

However, the days I spent in Utrecht were some of the hottest of the summer with temperatures up towards 40 degrees Celsius. The rooms have no AC and therefore I found my stay rather unpleasant. The staff apologised, and of course they are not to blame, but still, with the weather being the way it is and summers getting hotter and hotter, I found it strange that the hostel has not invested in some sort of...
