“Very clean, very quiet, had everything you need in one place, restaurant was nice and the food was nice, helpful staff. Parking was an additional cost which I do not like”

“Rummet var kallt”

“It was clean”

“This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value.”

“The only reason for the overall rating was the absence of WiFi in my room. The staff was very helpful and let me use the staff WiFi. The problem was resolved, but it returned as soon as I returned to my room. “Good potential but had to negotiate for access to swimming and breakfast on check-in (which was part of listing in the first place!). Quite embarrasing to have to do this in front of other guests in the line when it should have been straight forward. Family enjoyed the stay in the end thankfully. The image of the Hydro-Spa should be removed as its an extra fees.”

“Spacious room, clean, rooms been modernised. Hallways could do with some renovations”

“Nice, clean and very large room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good hotel which suited our needs.”

“The dog portraits were excellent”

“Lovely suite with a private garden terrace. Super sandwiches for lunch outside on the terrace, we were lucky with the weather. The only disappointment was with the à la carte main course. There was very limited choice and the fish and the beef fillet were overcooked, a shame for a Michelin star restaurant but we did not complain and it took a long time for our plates to be cleared, but the desserts were great and they were having a busy day.”

“Wi-Fi didn’t work. No Netflix and the room smells cigarettes smoke ”
