“The house was lovely and yard spacious for our family. Easy walk into town and the neighbours were all friendly. Unfortunately, we ran out of hot water one afternoon, but we had a new gas bottle installed within a few hours. There is no access to the garage and there is no shade to park your car under, which given the warm weekend was a downside but overall, we had a pleasant stay and Millthorpe is a lovely town to visit.”

“Parrots Nest it a wonderful place to stay. The cottage is delightful with all you need for a lovely and relaxing holiday. The sound of the birds each day and the cows and the lambs made our stay even more special and restorative. Very close to the town of Millthorpe with cute shops, cafes and a great museum, especially the scavenger hunt. “Expedia took our booking when Story Bank is closed. We tried to call a number we found but there was no answer. We drove to Mandurama and had no response so We had to return to Blayney a distance of 29km and find somewhere to stay the night there. We need a refund of $112.50 which was taken from our Mastercard account. This could have been avoided if Expedia had not taken the booking. A very unpleasant experience!!”
