“Can’t find a more peaceful place on earth, my new favorite stay! If you like nature and animals and want something more and only a hotel shud you come and visit hatchor manor! Feel like my new home, and the owner are great! Coming back soon, tanks for everything!”

“Suitable for one or a few nights stay, and for longer. The location is good for travellers coming from the airport and going further to other places in Tasmania, and vice vers. It is also recommended for tourists to Hobart with surroundings travelling by car.0 ”

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Unit is up a long narrow set of stairs. Door opens directly from the car park. There is a view in the distance but you need to look over the car park and over flow carpark plus some houses. The view of a he church tower and farm hills. The bar is directly below so great for dinner options. The unit has sloping roof so beware it’s tight getting around the bed. Unit had toaster and kettle no microwave. Plenty of cutlery plates and cups. It’s set for 4 but this would...

“Very clean and well equiped kitchen. Seemed completely new!”

“What a beautiful stay! John, Lisa, Summer & James were the most amazing hosts. From the warm welcome upon check-in to the cold drinks, beautiful dinner and very comfortable room, everything was first class. Do yourself a favour and visit this amazing hotel. The Pooley Winery across the road was divine also.”

“Very cute cottage to stay in and not far out of town. Only thing that we didn’t love was the single bed next to the stairs both of our kids were too scared to sleep in it.”

“Great historic property and in a great position.Beautiful town with great shops and friendly people.”

“Directions provided don't take you to the cottage. Bed was way too soft. And the roosters at 4am crowing were super annoying. ”

“Very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend. ”

“A lovely place to stay. The views are just so beautiful & Mark was a truly excellent host! It’s a great house for a large group or extended family. We would stay again.”

“This property is very basic. Some good additions would be a toilet roll holder, dish drainer and a serving bowel. It is a great summer stay but is not suited to a winter stay. It only has one heater in the living room and tiny fan heaters in the bedrooms. We had to buy hot water bottles and were lent a second large heater. Convenience wise it is between Hobart and the airport, within a 10 minute drive.”

“Owner friendly and welcoming. Lovely, comfortable cottage. The bed was very confy and all rooms spaciousWe also enjoyed all the extras, port, fudge, shortbread & wine etc. Good range of teas & pod coffee. Only 1 star less was dirtydue to some dirtydishes and pots as well as the coffee thrfrother”

“Barracks is well situated. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Would benifit from an upgrade. ”

“Comfortable accommodation though the bed was a little hard. Pet friendly but surprised the area surrounding the cottage was not fenced so the dog had to be tied up. The grass needed to be mown and was concerned there could be snakes lurking in the long grass. Overall, a good place to stay, quiet and a 20 minute walk into Richmond.”

“Lovely hosts, both Kim and Sharon, this was the best part of the stay. We had the cabin with 2 bedrooms which are great for our family of 4. We fed the farm animals once during our 2 day stay which was lovely. Nice fresh bread for breakfast was such a nice touch.”

“Would highly recommend this property especially if you have a small dog travelling with you. Excellent location, lovely spacious grounds, quiet and peaceful. Friendly hosts & lovely clean apartment with some thoughtful extras supplied. Hope to come back again.”

“Great location and generous breakfast. Lovely property”

“We had an absolutely fantastic time and the property was beautiful, there was a problem with a rew of the windows when it was windy they rattled terribly in the kitchen dining and upstairs bedroom and the stair railing needs fixing.but otherwise I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. Thank you again. PS once the decking gets done it would be perfect you need to be able to have an outdoor seating option especially for summer.”
