“Our cabin was mostly clean apart from a few dust webs that only showed up when the lights were on. All the important surfaces, (benchtop/shower/toilet) were spotless. Bed was comfortable and warm. Lovely lass in the reception/cafe/dining area of the lodge pretty much doing everything as it's 'off season' so very quiet. Had a lovely chat with the owner, Michael, before dinner re his history at the lodge and his signature branded rum, gin, wine etc. The lodge is very welcoming with a warming...

“Nice cosy little cabin accommodation with ensuite bathroom. Quiet room, reasonable sleep. Electric blankets were required to be used, but unfortunately one of the side (mine!) of the double electric blanket wasn't functioning. Normally we would have reported that to the proprietors but we were aware that the Hotel had closed for the night a few hours earlier and staff gone, so we put up with it.
Overall a comfortable stay for 1 night.”
