“Interior has been recently upgraded and is nicely done providing a pleasant stay. Host needs to be more responsive as we had an hours delay in accessing the property. Host did not respond to messages over a 6 hour period prior to arrival.”

“Great stay! It is a farm house so don't expect the Ritz. The house is very tastefully rebuild and furnished. The expanded living quarters/ kitchen all about spending time together in a great space. We found everything we were looking for, the sonos system worked like a charm and so did the hot tub.If there was one suggestion to the owner, the stair to the second floor should have a handrail for people that are not super mobile. Currently it is a steep stair without anything to hold on to....

“My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. ”

“The pictures didn’t do this place justice — it’s even more beautiful in person! The fall views over the orchard were stunning and we loved watching deer wander by in the early morning and at dusk. The rooms were perfectly sized, the kitchen was perfectly stocked and there were tons of games and movies for the kids. The host was incredible and gave us great local recommendations for things to do and places to eat. A perfect, quiet fall getaway — we can’t wait to return!”

“Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

“We had a beautiful Fall weekend getaway. This home was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We loved spending the evening around the fire pit and were so appreciative that the wood and fire starter were conveniently provided. With a short walk we were able to take in the lake views. The home is in close proximity to orchards for local produce, state parks, and Hudson. Leticia was a pleasure to arrange plans with and was very responsive to follow-up questions. ”
