“This lovely, cozy cottage was a great home base for our two children and us. The host was accommodating and communicative. We’re already talking about trying to return for a lake centric trip.”

“Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

“My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. ”

“The house was charming. Everything is clean and updated. Everything from the bedding, to the pots, pans, dishes, and towels were of very nice quality. As cold as it was, the walks by the lake were beautiful and peaceful and the firepit was a great way to end the cold winter days. Leticia was always helpful. She thought of everything, so we really didnt need much! ”

“The home and surrounding property are even prettier in person! The location is private and tranquil with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding property. The home is immaculate and very stylishly decorated. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds and linens are so comfortable! I would highly recommend this lakeside retreat! ”

“Overall, the cabin was nice. Especially if you're only planning on staying a few days. But for the price you pay for 2 nights, they could have better utensils, pan, a few more cooking utensils and a kettle for the hot water. These are just a few inexpensive amenities that these places should all have! Because most people are probably cooking there own food nowadays either by choice or the fact that there's nothing close by. But aside from the kitchen issues, this was a very nice, enjoyable...

“Affordable, location was excellent, close to amenities of food and gas. However, the property is dated, and the room whilst a decent size, was damp smelling and the bathroom unpleasant. Check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. If returning to the area and nothing else was available, I would stay again. I have been in worse, where I've said never again...”
