“This property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was everything we needed, the bedroom and bathroom luxurious. The kitchen area was the perfect size, stocked with a choice of coffees, teas and snacks. It’s perfectly located to go to the many wineries, restaurants and shopping in the area, It is an easy drive into Charlottesville. Our hostess was great, texting to check if we needed anything. I highly recommend a stay here.”

“First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!”

“When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by the concierge whom escorted us to our room and made sure we could enter our room using our code. After we settled in we went downstairs to the restaurant and had an awesome meal with breathtaking views of the valley. I will definitely return as I have family and friends in the area and the location is perfect. ”

“This property is a very pet friendly cottage in the woods by a stream. It was a very relaxing week away. Dana was very accommodating and a good communicator. We took advantage of all the things to do in the area, Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River State Park and Luray Caverns. We even took walks along the stream. We loved it!”

“Lovely location, clean, quiet and well stocked for your stay….stars at night are amazing!! Right at 30 mins to Shenandoah Swift Gap entrance and about 45 mins from Old Rag. Many have mentioned the road up…tricky in a couple of spots but slow and steady wins the race”

“Hosts were very informative and helpful. Place was cozy and awesome. Had almost anything you could think of as far as household necessities. Kids loved it. The fire pit, the screened in porch and the tire swing! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises”
