“We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. ”

“What a view! We enjoyed our stay at 3100 feet. It was worth the ride on the unpaved path to the top! We had a comfortable and peaceful time, staying very comfortably at the top of the world. Hosts are lovely and friendly. Had car trouble, and the nearby car repair helped us while we waited. Loved our place! Thank you!”

“Only thing is people need to respect the reserved space for those that are disabled. We had two people park in that spot and they were not staying with us in the unit. Yes, there are other spaces but having that spot for husband does make a difference. ”

“Very nice place. Cute cabin with lovely views. The fire pit are with a covered couch swing is great for evenings. If you are an early riser, there are nice sunrise views of the mountains. “We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

“They cabin was beautiful and more than met my expectations! The front porch was so nice with the hummingbirds coming to visit! It was so hot out but the cabin was cool and comfortable.
