“Amazing hotel with friendly and welcoming staff! The roof terrace is beautiful and the location perfect. Only issue is the rather thin walls and sounds travelling easy from the terrace down to the rooms. But with a set of earplugs you're OK! Would definitely stay here again next time I'm visiting Antigua.”

“Loved being so close to Tikal. Rooms were clean, staff super nice, good food at kitchen, pool was great at the end of the hot day (warm water from the sun so not refreshingly cool but good). Electricity limited - bring uSB plugs (no USB-C ports) - but they will charge devices in the office if you ask. Very few food options nearby but hotel restaurant was very good. Fav: burrito. No AC, ceiling fan only. I opened all windows and propped bathroom door open to get a small cross breeze but...

“I've stayed here a few times and it remains a great choice. Friendly staff, great location and a massive room, especially if you are on your own or a couple because generally rooms have three beds. The first bed I picked had an old, uncomfortable mattress so I switched to another one in the room which was fine. Good Wi-Fi and free water refill. ”

Hotel Soleil La Antigua

8/10 Bra

"Stannade en natt i Antigua och hade bokat hotellet i förväg. Enkelt att hitta med en bra parkering när man kom. Hotellet hade transport till centrum varje timme Rummen var lyhörda med dålig ljudisolering i fönster och dörrar med störande ljud från gatan. Vi bodde i markplan mot vägen med en mindre trädgård som utsikt vilket var fint. Säkert tystare i rummen mot bad området. Högljudda personer i korridoren hördes också väldigt väl. Fina utrymmen på hotellet med gott om servicevänlig personal och en bra frukost "

"Casa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited. The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely. For unknown reason the paddle boards were broken,but we weren't told why and when we could use them. There is A LOT of stairs, so if you have issues with that it's not the best place for you. "
