“Area was very nice. Enjoyed the outdoor space. Please though, check your rooms for common amenities. There were no hangers in the room for clothes. The website did not list if the room provided a microwave and fridge and I was happy to see that it did! I contacted the owner and asked if a hairdryer and iron with iron board was provided. The owner was happy to put a hairdryer in the room but could not provide the iron/ iron board. Over all we would stay there again.”

“When I arrived the key would not work, once I got a new one I walked in and the walls in the bathroom were not painted,the wallpaper had been removed. There were holes in the wall. A can of roach killer spray was outside the office door. I stayed for 10 minutes and returned my key and went home. I'll never recommend this motel at all. Please don't go. I was afraid of getting bed bugs or having roaches all over me.”

“We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Staff are not on site all the time, but are very friendly and responsive through text and phone. A local market has most essentials you may need nearby, and there are a few restaurants around the area with good food.”

“If you want to camp and have a camping experience, then this is the perfect spot! Lots of animals to see between the owner's horses and cats. The kitchen and bathroom are both shared spaces, not with the owners, but with the multiple other cabins on the property. So you are not super secluded from other people. We went in October, and the outdoor shower did not have hot water, so it was a rather cold shower. Holly, the owner, did say that they are going to replace the water heater soon, but...

“We loved the location! Super peaceful and relaxing! Kids had a great time fishing and looking for frogs! We were super comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family of five! The kitchen had a ton of cooking pans/pots and I was able to make some Father's day meals! Kayaks were a ton of fun! We caught a lot of fish as well!
