We were directly underneath a bar room and the sliding of chairs, talking and music carried on into the night. The music not only came through the ceiling above us, but was piped out into the backyard for bar patrons who went outside to smoke to listen to it.2) the location is quite remote. Some cars might not be able to get down the potholed gravel roads, depending on which route you use to get...

“We used the rental as headquarters for daily disc golfing excursions to the local courses. All guests had ample room. Operating light switches for common spaces was not intuitive. Also the lower patio door would not open from the inside. The front door locking mechanism was cumbersome with a 10digit code needed each time to open. “Property was really nice. We rented a pontoon boat and took that out to fish and watch wildlife (baby loons!!). Fishing off the dock was fun.The water was perfect for swimming. The property had shared kayaks, canoes, row boat, etc which is perfect for the no wake lake.6 of us stayed in the lodge and it was more than comfortable. The lodge was well stocked with kitchen items and plenty of towels.The little dog run area off the front porch was great for our dogs! They didn’t have to be toted...

“Colleen was a super host and a sweetheart as well. Place is very well equipped and very clean for its age. Gal of water in the fridge and the snack bowl on the table was a great touch. If you like downtown Hurley this location is awesome, it’s just a stumble around the block to get home. We will definitely be back this winter!!! Thanks again guys!!!”
