“This is a Sharia compliant hotel. So, no alcohol and no in room movies or western TV channels. The food is very unimpressive and the wifi works at glacial speeds. On the plus side it's very easy to access from airport (less than 5 minutes by taxi and my room was spacious and clean (it was designated as a suite). There is a well equipped conference centre and ballroom/meeting rooms. The staff are friendly but clearly not challenged by "normal" tourist standards.”

“A very pleasant 2 day stay at the hotel. The room allocated was spacious, clean and comfortable. I used the gym and swimming facilities and both were good. I used the hotel for breakfast and for evening meals and both were very good with a wide range of selection. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and courteous. The main tourist sites within the city were only 15 minutes drive away or 12 Ringgit (£2) by taxi. ”

“We booked two rooms and had a great family time. The hotel is close to Aman Central, major shopping complex in the city offering various eateries and shopping outlets. We also had lots of fun using the swimming pool. ”

“The room was clean and big enough for just one of me.Located near the Alor Setar Mall and not too far from my favourite Nasi kandar join, Nasi Kandar Daniel.You should give this hotel a try. Parking is not a problem too. Staff at the reception is friendly.”

“Convenient, clean and spacious room. The only thing that is somewhat strange is the bathroom and toilet sliding door. Both bathroom and toilet are separated side by side but they share the sliding door. This means when one is using the bathroom, no one could use the toilet as the door is on the other side. ”
