But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. “Great location while I took a 3-day art/printmaking workshop at Shake Rag Alley Art Center. Lovely living room above High Street, plus an enclosed back porch with an electric heater for colder days. Comfy bed(s) and spacious kitchen with coffeemaker and coffee, plus an electric kettle & tea (my preference.) I didn't cook, but the kitchen is ready for those who wish to do so. ”

“This is a discount hotel property, it doesn't have continental breakfast or a pool, but we didn't need those. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It is in a quiet location in a small town. The new air conditioner worked well, the room was clean. For our needs it was perfect.”
