I only wish I had known that it is near train tracks where the train ran by every few hours even throughout the night. I am a light sleeper, so I was woke up several times during the nights by the train. Overall, though, this place was great!”

“William's house was spotless and had everything 3 adults needed for a 4 night stay. The kitchen was especially well stocked with equipment and staples, allowing us to cook at home instead of eating out all the time. Every morning, we enjoyed eating on the swing overlooking the river. The flowers in bloom were also lovely and the garden was private and quiet. All switches were accurately labled and the house was in a perfect location for us, in our geneological quests! William even helped us...

“We enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Gray. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room to relax, we liked the open dining area and comfy chairs and couches. The best part was being in a peaceful area and sitting outside enjoying the weather. It is close to town with several dining options and within distance to explore West Virginia as well as Jackson, we also found some cool places to explore in the Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area. ”

“Host was very accommodating. Brought rocking chairs for the porch so my mom and aunt could sit outside. He was very friendly. Not sure if it was an oversight on my part but I thought the additional event building was included. When I inquired about it, I was told it wasn’t available due to an upcoming event. It worked out fine but I think the listing was a bit deceptive. The hot tub looked a bit cloudy the first night. We did not alert the host but I’m sure if we had he would have worked to...

“It was an excellent place to stay. The home was so comfortable, clean and relaxing. The owner thought of everything to make my stay a pleasant one. The backyard is private with a hot tub and fire pit. Each of the bedrooms has its own television. The living room was very comfortable and the office was a great touch. ”

“I use oxygen at night. Their employee was very helpful in setting up the machine and in placing a placard on the door "no smoking no vaping oxygen in use."”

“Property was clean and updated from top to bottom. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and our river-facing room was thoughtfully furnished. We ate a fantastic meal at the onsite Italian steakhouse then listened to some wonderful live music in the first floor lobby bar before getting a great night's sleep. 10/10”
