“The room had an odor and the grade of toilet paper was so bad I bought my own. Towels were old and rough. Showering was difficult as the water temperature fluctuated several times. The price was a little high compared to other motels in the area that had better accommodations and very good free breakfasts.The lawn area was covered with cigarette buts and I would say a chicken bone.”

“We had a slightly bigger room with a king size bed, and a separate room that had two twins. It was great for our longer stay. The breakfast was outstanding with many choices. It really catered to getting a lot of food in you before hiking or biking. There’s a free shuttle that picks you up right outside the hotel( it can accommodate bikes) that can take you right into the park so that you don’t even have to drive or pay for parking. “Great place to take the family and visit the nearby beaches. Head and Popham are within 15 minutes. We were booked in a Lighthouse room that had the view of the water blocked by trees and management was very helpful switching us to a better room.”

“Old Saco Inn in is an excellent family-run hide-out in a besitiful forest, very secluded but still near to most interesting things to do in the Mt Washington area. One of the best places we stayed at, incl. some five-star hotels, on our three week family round-trip in New England.”
