“Loved this place for the swimming pool and the bar and the restaurant. However, check-in and check-out took way too long and several mistakes were made. The staff had no idea which rooms we had booked and when ckecking out they mixed up our restaurant bills, among other things. Doesn't sound like such a huge problems but it took quite some time to sort everytning out. This would be the only thing that the hotel needs to improve.”

“I would say this place is ideal for a weekend by the lake. There is hot water, clean bedding, direct access to the lake, and a nice bar area. The pool is also great. The people who work here are really helpful and nice. Its not a luxury stay but very nice.”

“The Sunbird waterfront is a very nice modern property with very well appointed rooms. The restaurant is good – breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly and polite. I was disappointed by the lack of a tourist activity program, and very ad hoc approach to this. Some of the prices I was quoted for boat, rides, or other accompanied activities were ridiculous. “you can't stay here if you need wi-fi. No wi-fi in the room and wery bad in the garden. Do not stay here for the food at the restaurant and at the breakfast. We had to ask for 2 towels. There was a kettle in the room but no tea or instant coffee The staf was nice and kind. ”
